Late to the game, but this is a nice jump, choosing to recap the same time period from the viewpoint of the "guys." Some nice alternate perspectives and background flesh-out.
Also a nice way to not have to push the narrative forward. You've really dropped the load onto the next writer.
Second side note: poor Simon Jones has to put up with me pointing out his typos each week and noting the times when HE forgets to update his previous/next chapter buttons in "Triverse."
Even worse it took me a damn year before it occurred to me to do that through any of the multiple private channels I can use to communicate, not sticking a "your/you're" note in open comments for a chapter! If Substack allows I certainly have no objection to you deleting all this useless chatter about the Next Chapter button from the thread. 👍
Nice work, Kerrie! I really liked seeing what was happening from the guys' side of things. I also liked how you fleshed out the characters' backgrounds with what we already know from the previous chapter.

Moving on!
Thanks Mike didn’t mean to drop the load

It can happen. Especially when one not only has other projects of their own but has to set up a cross link into someone else's page!
Fixed now so future bingers can get through the entire thing, just as I did!
Side note - there's no "Next Chapter" button. I'm gonna have to jump to Simon Jones' Chapter 8 and start tapping "Previous" to get to Chapter 3.
Sorry about that Mike glad you enjoyed the story

Thanks Anthony you have made my day :-)
Woohoo!!!!! I'm going to fix myself a strong cuppa and pity Lauren's poor confused English boyfriend. Love the voice!
